The South Central Regional Airport Agency (SCRAA) is a proposed partnership for a shared regional airport between the City of Oskaloosa and the City of Pella. The Board of the SCRAA consist of three members from the City of Oskaloosa and three members from the City of Pella. To-date, the project has acquired on a voluntary basis 378 acres of land needed for the regional airport. However, due to the withdrawal of Mahaska County from the original agreement for the regional airport, the project is unable to acquire the remaining property necessary to build the regional airport. As a result, the project is on hold.
